RacklineLibraryBot reads public product pages and datasheets from AV equipment manufacturers to build the Rackline device library: which ports and signals each model has, so designs and monitoring are right.

How it behaves

• It identifies itself as RacklineLibraryBot/1.0 with a link to this page.
• It follows robots.txt and stops when a site asks it to.
• It spaces its requests to each host and fetches each document once, keeping a cache.
• It reads public pages only. It does not log in, fill in forms or download software.

What we keep

Structured facts (model names, ports, signal types, ratings) and a link to the source document. We do not republish manufacturers' text.
